Urban Landmark Cultural Shopping Center (Revit & Twinmotion)

Flowing Horizontal Curves

This concept design envisions a cultural shopping centre intended to function as a landmark within an urban context. The architectural form is generated through a series of horizontally layered floors, each expressed as a continuous curve. By gradually varying the outer dimensions of each floor plate, the building’s overall mass reads as a smooth, unified curved volume rather than a stack of individual levels.

This horizontal strategy is complemented by a transparent curtain wall system, which emphasizes the fluid geometry while allowing daylight to penetrate deep into the interior. The contrast between strong horizontal curves and a light vertical enclosure enhances the building’s sculptural quality.

From multiple viewpoints, the design presents a dynamic yet cohesive silhouette that reinforces its role as a cultural destination.

The layered curvature reflects the continuous movement of people through retail, exhibition, and public circulation spaces within the centre. The smooth horizontal expression creates a sense of visual continuity, guiding visitors intuitively around and through the building.

Subtle variations in floor projection generate depth and shadow, adding richness to the facade throughout the day. Through this approach, the building transcends conventional commercial architecture and becomes a fluid cultural landmark embedded within the urban fabric.
